1. Basair has the largest training fleet of aircraft in Sydney.
This means that there are plenty of aircraft available for
you to complete your training on time.
2. All our instructors work for us full time. They're
not amateurs who "dabble" with instructing just as a
hobby (as you see at flying "clubs"). Our staff are
fully qualified professionals.
3. Not only do we have a large fleet of aircraft - we have
a wide range of aircraft. Your training is not limited to
a small range of two or three aircraft types. We have ten different
types of aircraft making up our fleet of almost thirty aircraft.
4. We have a staff of more than 25 instructors. All professionals,
and all dedicated to helping you start your career.
5. We have been teaching people to fly in Sydney for more
than a decade. We're not newcomers to the area (who are still
learning about the terrain, procedures and weather). We are one
of the longest established schools at Bankstown - with a team
of locally trained instructors on staff.
6. Our courses are run as proper courses. Most "courses"
you will find are not really courses at all. They don't start
at certain times each year, and they're not run to a fixed schedule.
You end up trying to co-ordinate your own course. Not with basair.
Our courses have only 3 start dates per year, with limited numbers
of students on each intake. You're not just a number - you're
an important person who we will be helping all the way to start
yoour airline career.
7. Our staff undergo continual training and upgrading. We
have an extensive staff training and upgrade process that far
exceeds standards set by the Civil Aviation Safety Authority.
